Chief executive Kate Miranda told 6PR Drive host Jamie Burnett that although the transition will be expensive and slow, government support is essential to protect residents with respiratory issues.

“Ultimately, we would like the phasing out of wood-fired heaters in residential areas and no new wood fire heaters installed”, she said.
