A number of locals witnessed an assault in Falcon on Monday afternoon.

Police allege a 25-year-old man was struck by rocks during the incident, before losing consciousness and falling to the ground. Charges have since been laid.

Amy MacDonald, who assisted the man after the attack, told 6PR Mornings host Simon Beaumont what she witnessed.

“The teenagers were laughing and yelling and running off, with no regard to human life at all – that’s the bit I find most horrific actually”, MacDonald said.

Joel Marsh also witnessed the events and assisted the injured man, describing how the group allegedly continued taunting the victim while he was unconscious.

“It’s going to get to the point where you’re going to get older men take it into their own hands and end up in prison, because these little kids … think they can get away with it”, Marsh said.
