New research has found that seven million Australians are now priced out of flying due to soaring airfares.

Taylor Blackburn, a travel expert at Finder, which conducted the survey, says the price rise has Australians sitting on the fence about travelling during summer holidays.

“The cheap prices we get accustomed to are often the prices when there are plenty of seats left on the plane,” he told Rob Broadfield on 6PR Afternoons.
