The City of Vincent is battling Main Roads over changes to requirements that are impeding residents’ ability to hold street gatherings.

Mayor Alison Xamon, speaking with Perth Today host Chrissy Morissy, says the most liveable city in WA is determined to find a workaround to support community events.

“When you have humans that are in your street as opposed to just handing it all over to the cars it changes communities, it makes a big difference,” she said.
