Yesterday, Oliver Peterson received a What’s Your Beef from Kelly who was told off by her daughter’s kindy teacher for sending her to school with a muffin.

She is not the first parent to be criticised or judged for what’s in their child’s lunch box.

Paediatric dietitian Dr Kyla Smith told Oliver Peterson on Perth Live it’s not the teacher’s decision to decide what their students eat.

“You don’t understand the challenges,” said Dr Smith.

“It’s really unfair to make a call about what one child eats on one day.”
