Why streaming is changing the way children interact with TV

A new study by the Swinburne University of Technology has revealed streaming services and catch-up TV have changed how children interact with TV.
The study has found parents are choosing streaming services over live TV due to their ad-free, child-friendly content.
Associate Professor in screen studies at the Swinburne University of Technology Liam Burke told Jo McManus on 6PR Afternoons there is more demand than ever for child-friendly TV.
“Parents want… some sort of guidance about where to find good, appropriate… kids content,” said Professor Burke.
