Why one in five Aussie drivers are turning their car safety features off

New research has found one in five drivers disable their car’s safety features with 69 per cent hitting the “off” button because they find safety features annoying, distracting and too sensitive.
AAMI Motor Insights & Operations Manager Steve Cratchley spoke to 6PR Radio Perth Live presenter Oliver Peterson and said new and existing owners of vehicles with safety features should turn them on and learn how they work and what they respond to.
