6PR Breakfast host Karl has thrown down the gauntlet to West Coast, insisting their primary job this weekend is to spoil the party for Collingwood’s Scott Pendlebury, who is set to run out for his record-breaking 433rd game.

The debate kicked off on the program when co-host Millsy suggested a ‘nice gesture’ would be to schedule the ball-up for 4:33, a proposal which sparked fury in Karl.

While acknowledging the veteran midfielder’s magnificent achievement, Karl said AFL games are not won by a single individual.

Instead, he said the Eagles must use the milestone as motivation to ‘make a statement and teach the Pies a lesson’.

“I would use every single little bit of motivation to make sure that the day is ruined,” he said.
