Renowned chef, author and former MasterChef winner Adam Liaw has put down the knives in order to explore a closely-related topic to the culinary arts.

The much-loved presenter joins John Safran and Cal Wilson on Who The Bloody Hell Are We?, a new SBS series set to explore the layered history of the country’s multicultural population.

“The show couldn’t get more Australian when it’s name is based on an ad campaign starring Lara Bingle that was thought up by a former Prime Minister,” Mr Liaw said.

“But it’s a look at Australia’s multicultural history… literally everything in this documentary was shocking to me.”
