‘The Bali Bogan’ told the John Hughes Rumour File John Hammond, from Hammond Legal, was detained in Bali for using an expired or close to expired passport.

John Hammond confirmed the rumour himself, telling Millsy and Karl that he was detained due to a small rip in his passport, leaving Balinese authorities to believe his passport was fake.

“It was a little tear but I had to read out a statement that I acknowledge that my passport was of poor quality and/or a fake,” Mr Hammond said on 6PR Breakfast.
