The Australian Retirement Trust is supporting a cap on superannuation balances in a bid to stop people from taking advantage of the system.

Motley Fool chief investment officer Scott Phillips told Jo McManus on 6PR Afternoons the system is not fair.

“The system is structured badly,” said Mr Phillips.

“Let’s make sure the taxation burden is shared fairly.”
