David Kosh’s decision to “hang up the boots” and retire from his hosting role on Sunrise has shifted the Australian television dynamic, and now the question of who will fill those boots has appeared.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast there were a number of names topping the list of potential replacements, but the network may already have a strong idea.

“I’d be stunned if it’s not a one-horse race,” Mr Ford said.
