A State Memorial Service for Olivia Newton-John will be held on February 26.

The free, ticketed service is being planned in close consultation with representatives of the Newton-John family and will include special tributes from family and friends, including a musical performance by Delta Goodrem.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford told 6PR Breakfast the funeral will be live streamed however not televised.

“It’s not going to be the big extravaganza that we saw with say Shane Warne – this is going to be somewhat more sedate,” Mr Ford said.
