Flight prices appear to be soaring, making domestic travel unaffordable for many.

Tony Webber, Airline Intelligence CEO and former chief economist at Qantas, told Oly Peterson that several factors were in play.

“It’s not just the fuel price, it’s the Aussie dollar as well,” he said on Perth Live.

“The domestic airlines like Qantas, Virgin and Jetstar… they’ve got the worst of both worlds.”
