From ABBA to Celine Dion, Eurovision has been the launching pad for some of the world’s most famous musicians.

Eurovision expert and Senior Lecturer from the University of Southern Queensland Dr Jess Carniel told Julie-anne Sprague on 6PR Afternoons since 1954 the contest has developed into a worldwide competition.
