Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has announced new penalties for youth who commit serious crimes.

This comes after an alleged home invasion which resulted in the death of mother, Emma Lovell. 

Does WA need a crackdown on its youth crime laws?

Barrister and King’s Counsel with Albert Wolff Chambers Tom Percy told 6PR Afternoons parenting is to blame for youth crime.

“Parenting has gone astray,” said Mr Percy

“It begins with education.”
