The Electrical Trades Union is hitting out at Western Power over its move to axe another 175 jobs.

It follows the state-owned utility cutting 326 jobs in June focusing on transforming the business for long-term sustainability ahead of its possible sale by the State Government.

Les McLaughlan from the ETA WA says the employees are fearing for their futures.
