Western Australian Greens leader Brad Pettitt suggests we should all be wary of the new live facial recognition cameras.

Press PLAY to hear Brad Pettitt discuss the increase in police powers

On Politically Speaking, Pettitt told 6PR Drive host Jamie Burnett that this is the sixth change, either legislative or regulatory, we have seen from the police to increase their powers.

“Police powers have ramped up hugely in this state over the last couple of years and no one’s kind of putting these bits together and saying are we comfortable being in what frankly is an increasing police state”, he said.
