‘Weather service for water quality’ set to revolutionise wave watching

Australia’s national science agency CSIRO has launched AquaWatch Australia, a cutting-edge monitoring system designed to provide real-time water quality information.
Once fully operational, the system will use satellites to communicate with sensors sitting in the water and will provide a range of detailed information on water quality.
Aquawatch Deputy Mission Lead Doctor Neil Sims told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast users will be able to check forecasts before heading out onto the water.
