We need the truth, Bartlett tells St John Ambulance CEO

6PR Mornings host Liam Bartlett has joined the chorus of listeners flabbergasted at St John Ambulance.
The private ambulance service took more than 2.5 hours to attend a woman’s home in Ashby early Monday morning, after she called complaining she was having a heart attack.
By the time paramedics arrived at Georgina Wild’s home, they found her unresponsive on her couch with the television on.
St John Ambulance CEO Michelle Fyfe earlier told 6PR an independent inquiry would be held into the 80-year-old grandmother’s death.
“We don’t need your understanding Michelle, we need the truth,” Bartlett said on Tuesday.
“And we need to know that when you call triple-0, and you’re having a heart attack and sitting on your couch waiting for an ambulance, the ambulance will turn up, hopefully on time, not 2.5 hours later… after you’ve passed away.”
