There are calls to ban bidding on rental properties in Western Australia amid the state’s rental crisis.

This comes after New South Wales introduced regulations banning rental bidding.

Better Renting executive director Joel Dignam told Oliver Peterson on Perth Live rental bidding is a real problem.

“For people who can’t, it means they are constantly stuck at the bottom of the pile,” said Mr Dignam.
