The West Australian government will be buying coal for over $300 a tonne from the Eastern States, instead of paying $70 a tonne for WA coal.

State Liberal leader Dr David Honey told 6PR Mornings host Gary Adshead the government has mismanaged WA’s transition to renewable energy.

“I do think they are softening people up because they have mismanaged the energy transition,” said Dr Honey.
