Pharmacies across WA have shared their dire concerns over the Federal Government’s proposed changes to medication supply, saying it will bring down an already strained system.

The changes to the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme are aimed at reducing the costs of 300 of the most common medications available to customers.

Yet many pharmacists are arguing they may be forced to close their doors as doubling the planned supply of medication will further bottleneck the supply of drugs.
