The WA Police Commissioner is calling for calm and the blame game to stop as authorities continue to investigate a fiery crash in the northern suburbs.

It’s alleged two teenagers riding a stolen dirt bike collided with a Toyota Kluger SUV on Monday morning, leaving the female driver with burns, while an 18-year-old man is fighting for life in Royal Perth Hospital.

Police say a 17-year-old on board the bike is responsible for stealing it, as well as other offences, but the 18-year-old’s mother claims the driver of the vehicle is to blame for the crash because she was pursuing the pair.

Col Blanch told Gareth Parker 👇 on 6PR Breakfast he’s not jumping to conclusions.
