One of Western Australia’s very own has qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympics, while also completing university and winning the Busselton Jetty Swim for the fifth year in a row.

WA marathon swimmer Kyle Lee joined Julie-anne Sprague to discuss his recent success.

“To be honest, I don’t really know what I want to do after swimming. I’m just enjoying my swimming at the moment, and it’s [university] been great to have something on the side that helps takes my mind off the pool as well, I guess helps me to be a balanced person,” Mr Lee said.

“It’s hard to wrap my head around and hasn’t quite sunk in yet, but it was very special to finish that race and having teammates that also qualified for it [Paris 2024 Olympics] was super exciting.”
