WA set to build and run Australia’s first moon rover

The Australian Remote Operations for Space and Earth (AROSE)  has announced Western Australia will design, build, test and operate a lunar foundation services rover for NASA when the space agency returns to the moon.

AROSE CEO Leanne Cunnold told Oliver Peterson on Perth Live this is historic for the state and the country. 

“It’s a historical mission,” said Ms Cunnold.

“This will demonstrate Australia’s capability to play a significant role in the emerging space sector.”
