Article image for WA’s longest serving teacher retires

After 60 years in the classroom, WA’s longest serving teacher is finally hanging up the chalk.

Bill Hann will retire tomorrow after a long career teaching at schools across WA.

The 80-year-old Rossmoyne Senior High School teacher is the Department of Education’s longest serving employee and says technology is one of the biggest changes he’s seen in his time in the classroom.

Bill and his wife Di, a recently retired reacher herself, joined Adam Shand in the studio.
