Western Australia is on track to record its highest road toll in nearly two decades, with 110 fatalities already recorded in the first six months.

RAC spokesperson Rhys Heron told 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Mick that Western Australia faces a road safety culture problem, with complacency setting in.

“Together, all of us whether it’s the community, drivers, the government, we all need to look at opportunities to arrest this trend because behind the numbers, these are real people”, he said.
