WA Health has announced there have been no new local cases of COVID-19 today.

Out of 655 close contacts of the COVID-19 infected backpacker, who tested positive last week, there are 46 are yet to be tested.

243 close contacts haven’t presented for testing out of more than 1000 who have been identified.

Contact tracers are working to identity any further exposure sites.

People are urged to keep up to date with the list of locations on the Healthy WA website.

83.4 per cent of West Australians over 12 are now double dose vaccinated, and 91.5 percent have had their first dose.
