WA Museum forced to close after COVID exposure

WA Museum Boola Bardip is closed today after it was identified as a COVID-19 exposure site.
A 25-year-old man infected with the virus visited the museum in the afternoon of December 16.
CEO Alec Coles told Karalee Katsambanis all staff who were exposed to the man have so far tested negative.
“We will be closed today because clearly until we get enough results back, it wouldn’t be appropriate to reopen.
“We are doing a big, deep clean today.”
Mr Coles said he hopes the museum will be able to reopen on Boxing Day.
