The are rumbles of a ruction within the WA Labor Party.

Former State Secretary of WA Labor John Halden believes caucus is has split into three groups: those with Mark McGowan, those who believe former Federal MP Stephen Smith would be a better option and those who are undecided.

Gary Adshead spoke to Mr Halden on 6PR Mornings.

Sue Ellery, the Leader of the Opposition in the Upper House has told Gary Adshead, she has not sensed any nervousness among caucus members.
