Cancer Council WA cancer prevention and research director Melissa Ledger told 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Karl that the aggressive promotion of these unhealthy products makes it difficult for families to make healthy choices.
“We had hoped that there’d be a clause in there that would just protect people, our community, from junk food ads being on buses, trains and train stations. And as it currently stands, there’s zero protection”, she said.
