The State Government has introduced new rules for short-term rental accommodation providers which AHA CEO Bradley Woods says have been needed for “quite a long time”.

The new rules provide a $10,000 incentive for property owners to switch short-term rental accommodations to long-term rental homes and set a yearly 90-day limit on nights rented.

Australian Hotels Association CEO Bradley Woods and REIWA CEO Cath Hart joined Oly Peterson on 6PR’s Perth Live to discuss the impact of new regulations on the already dire housing crisis.
