He’s one of the most divisive characters in Australian sports, yet there’s no denying the powerful work he’s done for Anzac remembrance.

The cricket legend talked to Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings about his trip to the Western Front before humbly discussing his work in supporting veterans and their families.

“What a sobering experience; it was one of the great things I’ve done in my life,” Mr Langer said.

“In France and Belgium there’s enormous respect for Australian soldiers.”
