Mark Readings

Heroics from West Australian opener Beth Mooney saw Australia claim their sixth T20 Women’s World Cup.

The 29-year old notched up an unbeaten 74 off 53 balls and claimed player of the match in her team’s 19-run win over South Africa.

Western Australian Cricket Association chief executive officer Christina Matthews told WWOS Beth Mooney is underrated.

“Beth Mooney was outstanding,” said Ms Matthews.
