Telstra has been accused of overstating its mobile coverage, with allegations that connectivity was measured with the assistance of an external antenna.

Trevor Long, founder of EFTM, told 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Karl that Vodafone’s owner, TPG, is considering legal action and has lodged a complaint with the ACCC.

“I think this will go to the ACCC and I think it will be fascinating to see whether Telstra is forced to make some changes and potentially pay some compensation,” he said.
