While main street speed limits have already been reduced, City of Vincent mayor Alison Xamon has announced plans to go further, proposing limits of 30km/h or even 20km/h on some local roads.

Xamon told 6PR Drive host Jamie Burnett about the proposal.

“We are increasingly needing to slow down the traffic and also to minimise the degree of rat-running through those streets as well”, she said.
