A depleted West Coast’s brave win against Collingwood was considered one of the club’s best in history by supporters and experts.

Veteran star forward Josh Kennedy said the players were also excited with the result, considering the number of youngsters in the side who were still adapting to the club’s game style.

“To get away and win that battle was something we were all pretty happy with,” he told Gareth Parker on 6PR Breakfast during his regular Tuesday morning segment.

The Eagles suffered a massive blow with superstar ruckman Nic Naitanui to miss the first half of the season after suffering a medial ligament in the late stages of Saturday’s gripping victory.
