Victoria will get a pill-testing trial over summer.

In a video posted on her social media, the Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan said paramedics have attended more overdoses at festivals in the first three months of the year, than the whole of last year.

Gino Vumbaca, President of Harm Reduction Australia President told Oly Peterson on Perth Live, it a good move that leads to important conversations.

“There are people who are quite naive about drug use, and they’re the ones who are really susceptible to a potential overdose or adverse event.”

“The better informed you are, the better the decisions you make,” he said.
