Applications are now open allowing pubs and bars to potentially extend their trading hours for the upcoming UEFA EURO 2024 Championship.

It will allow longer hours for a month beginning on the 14th of June, capped at a cost of $1,285.50.

Australian Hotels Association WA CEO Bradley Woods told Oliver Peterson on Perth Live changes should be made to the acts and regulations so global events are automatically recognized, enabling venues to get the hours so that punters can enjoy.

“We’re appreciative of the fact that the doors been opened…but at the end of the day we would like it to be a lot simpler,” Woods said.
