The City of Vincent has extended their Verge Valet service for another 12 months after the program was successfully trialled for the last 18 months.

The service allows people to book in verge collections for unwanted junk.

City of Vincent Deputy Mayor Susan Gontaszewski told Jo McManus on 6PR Afternoons the new system has led to less junk ending up in landfill.

“Our residents like to be able to choose their collection date… they like the flexibility,” said Ms Gontaszewski.
