Vegas all shook up amid crackdown on Elvis weddings

The licensing company that controls Elvis Presley’s legacy is ordering Las Vegas wedding operators to pay up or ditch Elvis-themed ceremonies.
Authentic Brands Group has sent cease-and-desist letters to most chapels in the city, which it argues are using Elvis’ likeness without permission.
“Elvis-themed weddings are a big proportion of the $2 billion wedding industry in the city,” US correspondent Harley Carnes told Gareth Parker on 6PR Breakfast.
“Some of those wedding chapels say the lawyers are turning their places of love me tender and joy into a heartbreak hotel.”
