A supposed letter from a vegan to their meat-cooking neighbour has kicked up a heated argument online over culinary etiquette.

The letter, which may or may not be genuine, has nevertheless once again tapped on the topic of the smell of different types of cooking and what it means for community acceptance.

Mondo Butchers founder Vince Gareffa told Millsy and Karl onĀ 6PR Breakfast the debate on whether or not to have meat on the table with vegans and vegetarians is ongoing and open to context.

“Everybody’s different. If we don’t learn to be a multicultural society, the world is going to fall apart,” Mr Gareffa said.
