Retail representatives have said the federal government has “lost control” of vape product sales, with a growing black market creating a huge legal blindspot in who is selling and buying vapes.

Australian Association of Convenience Stores CEO Theo Foukkare told Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings organised crime groups taking advantage of the lack of regulation over vapes.

“The profits far outweigh what the risk is,” he said.
