A Four Corners program has revealed the United States is preparing to deploy six nuclear-capable bombers to Northern Australia.

Nautilus Institute senior research associate Richard Tanter told 6PR Mornings host Liam Bartlett about the impact this will have on Australia’s international relations.

“This will be a dramatic elevation of the Australian role in any conflict between the united states and china… we need to think very carefully about the consequences of that choice,” said Mr Tanter.
