Collingwood superfan “Swoop Luke” said comments made by Karl Langdon and Will Schofield to “ruin” Scott Pendlebury’s record-breaking 433rd game were disrespectful to a legend of the game.

He told 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Karl he defended the club’s decision to rest the veteran midfielder in round 10.

“After 21 years you want your fans around, what’s the point of playing your record-breaking game in front of a Sydney crowd of 42,000 when 80 per cent of them are Sydney Swans?”, he said.
