Public sector workers will continue their fight for significant wage increases in WA.

Secretary of Unions WA, Owen Whittle told Oliver Peterson on Perth Live they will go ahead with planned protests later this month, demanding bigger wage increases for public sector workers.

“This new offer still falls well short of recognizing the good work of public sector workers, and still falls extremely short of the increases in the cost of living.

“We’re hoping that the sun will be shining and we’ll get 5000 or 6000 people out the front of parliament, and that we will make our point very clear.
