UK’s most wanted woman arrested… walking her dog in Spain
One of the UK’s most wanted people has been arrested, while walking her dog in the Spanish seaside town of Santa Barbara.
Sarah Panitzke, 47, disappeared in May 2013 while on trial over her part in laundering cash from a £1bn mobile phone tax scam.
“Someone recognised her, and the cops pounced,” Enda Brady told Gareth Parker on 6PR Breakfast.
Meanwhile a Paris museum has removed a Vladimir Putin waxwork, after it was damaged on the weekend, with consideration now to replace it with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
In the US, president Joe Biden will give a State of the Union speech later this morning, with security bolstered around the Capitol building.
The speech is expected to focus on Putin and current events in Ukraine.
