Trump presidency casts doubt on refugee swap
The Federal Government is hoping genuine refugees on Nauru and Manus Island will be quickly resettled in the United States, following an assessment by American officials
There are concerns the deal could be overturned once Donald Trump is formally sworn-in as the next US President, given the hardline he’s taken on immigration issues
But Justice Minister Michael Keenan l is confident that won’t be the case.
