From November, Australia’s borders will open for international travel for the first time since March 2020 for fully vaccinated passengers.

And travel agents say they are ready for business to explode and have already fielded inquiries from a travel-starved public.

“The news is good, the pent up demand is huge, we know that, and we know that form what’s gone on in other countries,” Australian Federation of Travel Agents CEO Tom Manwaring told Gareth Parker on 6PR Breakfast.

“Now the processes are being finalised, and people can book with certainty and confidence, that’s what we need.”
